ABN Pig & Poultry Scholarship (includes one year work placement)

The ABN Pig & Poultry Scholarship is offered to students at Harper Adams University who are interested in exploring a career in the animal feed production sector. ABN, the UK's leading independent manufacturer of compound animal feed, may award one scholarship to a deserving student. The successful recipient receives a one-year placement with ABN that incorporates experience both on-farm and in a commercial setting, along with a contribution towards their education of £4,500. Subject to a review at the end of placement, there may be an opportunity for further funding in the final academic year. This is a competitive award evaluated on merit of the submitted application, academic achievements to date, and interview performance. A condition of the scholarship is that recipients undertake their placement year with the sponsoring firm. The award is paid in two equal parts: half in February 2026 and the remaining balance in May 2026.
