About this opportunity
This award has been established to provide support to an Aboriginal student who is pursuing a degree in Kinesiology and Health Studies. Academic capability as well as developmental experience in related activities including leadership potential will be considered. The award is available to both undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in the Faculty of Kinesiology and Health Studies at the University of Regina. Applicants must demonstrate leadership involvement, previous and current, in recreation, sport, physical activity or related activities. Award preference is given in the following order: a graduate student, an entering undergraduate student, or a continuing undergraduate student. Students must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours per semester (or less if writing/defending a thesis or registered in practicum/internship classes) and maintain a minimum CGPA of 70%.
