Aboriginal Postgraduate Nursing and Midwifery Scholarships

The Aboriginal Postgraduate Nursing and Midwifery Scholarships provide financial support of up to $10,000 to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander registered nurses and midwives employed within NSW Health to pursue postgraduate education. The scholarships help with course costs directly associated with postgraduate study, supporting career development opportunities that will enhance cultural safety within NSW Health and impact the health of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. The scholarship amount is tiered based on the level of postgraduate qualification being pursued: up to $6,000 for Graduate Certificate, up to $8,000 for Graduate Diploma, and up to $10,000 for Masters programs. These scholarships are available to full-time, part-time, and eligible casual employees working in NSW Health facilities, and are designed to expand knowledge and provide career development opportunities for Aboriginal nursing and midwifery professionals.
