About This Opportunity
The Department of Health is partnering with the Victorian Aboriginal community-controlled health organisation (VACCHO) and Deakin University to implement an Aboriginal social and emotional (SEWD) Scholarship Program. The program aims to assist Aboriginal people working in Aboriginal Social and Emotional Wellbeing teams to complete further education in clinical and therapeutic mental health qualifications to build Victoria's Aboriginal Social and Emotional Wellbeing workforce. This scholarship covers 100% of student contributions (tuition fees), 100% of Student Services and Amenities fees (SSAF), and provides cash payment up to $1250 for each credit point studied each period to assist with out of pocket study expenses.
