About this opportunity
This scholarship is for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students working, or intending to work in the social and emotional well-being workforce, enrolled in related programs at RMIT University. The scholarship is worth up to $135,000 for tuition fees, student services and amenities fees (SSAF), and financial support. It provides support for the standard duration of the program, up to a maximum of 8 years. The scholarship covers tuition fees up to $12,000 per year for undergraduate programs and $31,000 for postgraduate by coursework programs, SSAF fees up to $326 per annum, and financial assistance of up to $10,000 per annum for full-time enrolment or $5,000 per annum for part-time study, paid fortnightly. Additional supports of up to $5,000 per annum may also be available including access to Aboriginal student peer networks, mentoring and alumni programs, support from Aboriginal Elders, tutoring and academic assistance with flexible learning options, opportunities to attend conferences and professional development events, career mapping support, and accommodation and placement assistance where required.
