ABVTA Veterinary Technology Student Award

Established in 1998 by the Alberta Association of Veterinary Technologists, the ABVTA Veterinary Technology Student Award is available to Veterinary Technology students enrolled full-time at Lakeland College. This award recognizes students who best exemplify excellence in the academic setting across multiple dimensions. Recipients must demonstrate all-around skills in both large and small animals, maintain good academic standing, and exhibit professionalism and skills that represent the veterinary profession. The award also values community engagement and volunteerism, whether through classroom participation or community volunteer activities. This scholarship supports students pursuing careers in veterinary technology in Alberta, Canada.
