Academic Excellence Entrance Scholarship

Established in 2008, the Lakeland College Academic Excellence Entrance Scholarship is awarded to students admitted directly from high school to the 1st year of specific programs including Environmental Sciences, any Business program, Interior Design, and University Transfer. Students are identified when they are conditionally accepted to their chosen Lakeland College program on the basis of academic achievement in five Grade 11 core academic subjects. The scholarship amount is tiered based on academic average: an 85% average earns a $1,500 scholarship, a 90% average earns a $2,500 scholarship, and a 95% average earns a $3,500 scholarship. Applicants must be residents of Canada. This scholarship is not part of the Entrance Awards application; eligibility is assessed at the time of admission.
