Academic Transfer Award

The Academic Transfer Award is a scholarship program designed to support high-achieving incoming transfer students at North Dakota State University. This award recognizes academic excellence by providing financial assistance to students who have demonstrated strong academic performance at their previous institutions. The scholarship is available to students who have completed 12 or more college credits by the scholarship deadline and have maintained a cumulative 3.5 or higher GPA on a 4.0 scale. The award provides $1,000 per year and is renewable for one additional year, for a total anticipated amount of $2,000 over the full term. Students who are currently enrolled at NDSU are not eligible for this award. To qualify, students must have completed fewer than 120 credits and must not have previously completed a Bachelor's or Bachelor's-equivalent degree. The application deadline for students intending to start in the Spring semester is December 1st, while the deadline for students intending to start in the Fall semester is April 1st.
