Academy of Clinical Science and Laboratory Medicine President's Prize

The Academy of Clinical Science and Laboratory Medicine (ACSLM) President's Prize is awarded to top-performing Biomedical Science students at University College Cork. The Academy contacts the top two ranked Biomedical Science students in the fourth year research module BM4013/BIOM8011 Research Project and invites them to participate nationally in the ACSLM Presidents Prize competition. Students are required to make an oral presentation to ACSLM representatives. The winner of this competition receives a medal and the opportunity to represent Ireland at the European Association for Professions in Biomedical Science International Conference. This prize recognizes excellence in biomedical science research at the undergraduate level and provides international exposure to the winning student.
