About this opportunity

The Access Bursary is a financial support program offered by the University of Wolverhampton to eligible undergraduate students. This bursary provides £2000 in total payments distributed over the first and second years of study. The program is designed to support students with specific accessibility needs or from care backgrounds. To qualify, students must apply and enrol on a full-time undergraduate course with annual tuition fees of £6000 or more, and must have firmly accepted an offer by July prior to their course start date. Eligible applicants include those with deafness, hearing loss, or hearing impairments who qualify for Disabled Student Allowance (DSA), as well as care leavers and estranged students who have declared their status to the University prior to enrolment. The bursary is paid in instalments through the WLV Wallet Account, with payments made twice annually subject to continued engagement with studies.
