Access Bursary for ROI Students

The Strathclyde Access Bursary is designed to attract the best students regardless of background by providing financial support to new undergraduate students from the Republic of Ireland. The bursary is awarded to students who enter the University and pay a tuition fee of £9,535 per year. The value of the bursary ranges from £1,000 to £3,000 per year of study, depending on the student's assessed reckonable income as calculated by Student Universal Support Ireland (SUSI). This funding helps with living costs throughout each year of undergraduate study. The bursary amount is determined by income bands that have been matched to equivalent bursaries for students from England, Northern Ireland, and Wales, ensuring equitable access to higher education for students from the Republic of Ireland at the University of Strathclyde.
