Access UQ Residential Scholarship

The Access UQ Residential Scholarship is part of the UQ Residential Scholarships Scheme at the University of Queensland. This scholarship provides financial assistance to domestic students experiencing financial hardship by covering 50% of applicable rent at approved accommodation providers. The scholarship was established in 2025 through HECG Equity Plan Funds and aims to support students, with preference given to those from regional, rural or remote areas. The scholarship is available to both current and future UQ students enrolled full-time in approved undergraduate programs. Seven scholarships are awarded annually for a duration of one year.
