Accommodation Award - International

The International Accommodation Award is available to entrant undergraduate students with an Overseas fee status who will be studying in St Andrews for an undergraduate degree beginning in 2026. Prospective students can apply for financial support towards their University or private accommodation costs in St Andrews. Awards worth a minimum of £1,750 per annum are available for the duration of the undergraduate course, with selection based on financial need. The award will be paid towards University accommodation fees in the first instance; students transferring to privately owned accommodation will receive the award as monthly maintenance payments. Information received in the application will be taken into consideration as part of the overall review process. Applicants will be assessed on their financial need without requiring financial evidence, but should answer questions in the St Andrews International Undergraduate application form as completely as possible. The scholarship is paid annually for the duration of the undergraduate course. Students must be living in the UK and studying at the University of St Andrews to receive payment of this award.
