Accounting Alumni Gold Medal Award for Excellence in Accounting

The Accounting Alumni Gold Medal Award for Excellence in Accounting is a prestigious annual award presented to the outstanding graduate from the Master of Accounting program at the University of Waterloo. One gold medal is awarded annually, usually in October, to the student who has achieved the highest marks in all required and elective accounting courses throughout their program. The award recognizes academic excellence and outstanding achievement in the field of accounting at the graduate level. The gold medal has a monetary value that varies from year to year, and the award is made possible through generous donations from Accounting alumni of the University of Waterloo. Recipients are automatically selected by the Faculty or Department based on their academic performance, with no application process required. The award is presented during the Fall term to honor the graduating student's exceptional academic accomplishments.
