About this opportunity
The Ada I. Pressman Memorial Scholarship honors Ada I. With this expertise, she managed 18 design teams for over 20 power generating plants throughout the world. Ada left a very large bequest to establish this memorial scholarship in her name. The scholarship supports female students pursuing undergraduate or graduate degrees in engineering, engineering technology, and fields related to engineering. All engineering majors are eligible to apply. The scholarship is renewable for up to five years. Applicants must be studying at an ABET-accredited program in engineering, technology, or computing in the upcoming academic year. Students who attend an ABET-accredited community college programs are also eligible. While SWE membership is not required to apply, becoming a member may qualify applicants for additional scholarships and add points to the application review score. The scholarship reviewers focus on extracurricular activities, work history, volunteerism, and interest and involvement in STEM fields.
