Adam R. Thayer Scholarship

The Adam R. Thayer Scholarship is an annual scholarship offered in honor of Adam Thayer, former Director of Information Technology at Goodwill Industries of North Florida, who passed away in February 2020. Adam was passionate about Goodwill's mission to help remove barriers to employment and was a strong proponent of education, community service, and helping others succeed. The scholarship awards $5,000 to a college-bound high school senior or active Goodwill employee based on demonstrated academic achievement, financial need, and community service record. The scholarship is now open to all majors and recognizes students who intend to continue their education. Eligible applicants must reside in Goodwill of North Florida's service territory, which includes areas in North Florida. This is a one-time, non-renewable scholarship that seeks to support individuals who demonstrate both academic excellence and commitment to serving their community.
