Adel S. Sedra Entrance Scholarship

The Adel S. Sedra Entrance Scholarship is an undergraduate entrance award established by Adel S. Sedra, former dean of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Waterloo. The scholarship provides financial support valued at up to $2,000 each to outstanding students entering Year One of Electrical and Computer Engineering programs. This entrance scholarship recognizes academic excellence and is designed to support incoming undergraduate students pursuing engineering education. Selection is based on academic performance, the Admission Information Form (AIF), and an online video interview. No separate application is required as students are automatically considered based on their admission materials.
