About This Opportunity

The AE and FAQ Stephens Scholarship provides funding to support research work in any faculty or discipline at the University of Sydney. This scholarship was originally established in 1953 following a bequest from Francis Allan Quintin Stephens of his residuary estate to the University for the purpose of supporting postgraduate research work. The scholarship provides stipend support valued at the Research Training Program (RTP) Stipend rate, indexed annually on 1 January. Recipients must be domestic students undertaking full-time Masters by Research or PhD studies. The scholarship follows the Research Training Program application process and is awarded on the basis of academic merit as recommended by a committee appointed by the Academic Board.
