About this opportunity

The Alliance for Equality of Blind Canadians (AEBC) offers scholarships to recognize outstanding blind, deafblind and partially sighted post-secondary students. These scholarships are provided by Allyant and an anonymous donor to support students with visual impairments pursuing post-secondary education in Canada. The AEBC is a grassroots organization that works to improve the lives of blind, deafblind and partially sighted Canadians through education, empowerment, and advocacy. Eligible students must be enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution including college, university, vocational, educational upgrading, or performing arts programs, and must be enrolled in a minimum of two courses in the 2025-26 academic year. The scholarship is available to Canadian citizens or permanent residents who meet specific visual impairment criteria including blindness, deafblindness, or partial sight as defined by specific visual acuity measurements.
