About this opportunity

The AEBC/Allyant Scholarship Program provides four to six $1,000 annual scholarships to blind, deafblind and partially sighted students. A varying number of the scholarships are offered through funds provided by external grants which are confirmed each year and cannot be relied upon. Funds for the other scholarships are raised by AEBC chapters and affiliates. The program is designed to support students with visual disabilities in their educational pursuits across Canada. Applications typically open in April each year, with awards announced later in the year. The scholarship program is managed by the AEBC Scholarship Committee and represents a key component of AEBC's commitment to promoting equality and educational opportunities for blind, deafblind, and partially sighted Canadians.
