About This Opportunity

The AFCEA STEM Majors Scholarships program provides financial support to undergraduate students pursuing degrees in STEM fields related to the mission of AFCEA. The program offers three scholarship opportunities: the STEM Major Scholarship ($2,500), the Cyber Security Scholarship ($5,000), and the Student Member Scholarship ($2,500). Applicants complete a single application and are considered for all scholarships for which they qualify. Eligible students must be enrolled full-time as sophomores or juniors in a four-year college or university, maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and be U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Qualifying majors include aerospace engineering, computer science, cybersecurity, electrical engineering, information technology, mathematics, physics, robotics, and other STEM disciplines related to AFCEA's mission. Scholarship funds are restricted to tuition and course-related expenses such as fees, books, supplies, and equipment. The application process requires an online form, official transcripts, and one letter of recommendation from faculty in the student's major of study.
