About this opportunity
The African Diaspora Council Scholarship is awarded to undergraduate students who clearly demonstrate significant engagement with or significant service to the African American/Black/African Diaspora community. This scholarship supports students who have shown commitment to community engagement and service. Recipients must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50, demonstrate financial need as determined by the UWM Financial Aid Office, be enrolled in a degree-granting program, and hold Junior or Senior standing. Students who self-identify as African American or Black are particularly encouraged to apply. Recipients will be expected to engage with various opportunities presented through the African Diaspora Council (ADC) at UWM, including networking events with scholarship donors.
