Africana Studies Alumni Annual Scholarship

The Africana Studies Alumni Annual Scholarship is offered to full-time students at Eastern Illinois University who are minoring in Africana Studies. Recipients must have completed at least 15 hours of Africana Studies coursework and maintain an overall GPA of at least 3.00. Financial need is a consideration in the selection process. The award is announced in the Fall semester and disbursed in the Spring semester. This is a non-renewable scholarship; recipients are not eligible to receive the award again even if they continue to meet the stated criteria.
