Afzal A Khan Outstanding Achievement in Mathematics Scholarship

The Afzal A Khan Outstanding Achievement in Mathematics Scholarship is awarded to a student with superior academic achievement continuing in the second, third or fourth year of study in the Department of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences with an honors or specialization in mathematics. Selection is based on academic standing in Mathematics courses from the prior year of study. Recipients must not have received other awards in the field of Mathematics in the same year. This scholarship was established through endowed funds in loving memory of Mr Afzal A Khan, PEng, who had a mastery of mathematics and for whom it was his hobby, his passion and his legacy.
