About this opportunity
The Agnes Campbell Research Scholarship has been established from the Agnes Campbell Bequest and provides assistance towards living expenses for a PhD student to conduct postgraduate research in chemistry, with a preference for organic chemistry. The scholarship provides a stipend allowance equivalent to the University of Sydney's Research Training Program (RTP) stipend rate, currently $41,753 per annum, for up to 3.5 years subject to satisfactory academic performance. Recipients must be enrolled full-time in a PhD within the School of Chemistry at the Faculty of Science. The scholarship is awarded based on academic merit, research proposal alignment with organic chemistry, curriculum vitae, supervisor support, and a personal statement. Successful applicants must hold an honours degree (First Class or Second Class Upper) or a master's degree with a substantial research component in a related field.
