About this opportunity
The AHEA Jane Carlyle Memorial Award is presented to a student with a minimum GPA of 3.2 entering or continuing in the third or fourth year of study at the University of Alberta. Eligible programs include a BSc. in Human Ecology, a combined BSc. in Human Ecology/Bachelor of Education, or a BSc. in Nutrition and Food Science with a minor in Human Ecology. Selection is based on volunteer commitment, involvement in extracurricular activities, demonstration of community leadership, and academic standing. This award was endowed by the Alberta Human Ecology and Home Economics Association along with family and friends of Jane Carlyle (BSc Home Economics 1972), in memory of Jane's contributions to the community and the profession of human ecology and home economics. The award is administered through the Faculty of Agricultural, Life & Environmental Sciences.
