About this opportunity
The AHRC Doctoral Landscape Awards fund doctoral researchers in arts and humanities disciplines at the University of Kent. These prestigious awards provide comprehensive support for doctoral study, including a doctoral stipend equivalent to the Research Councils UK National Minimum Doctoral Stipend (£20,780), full tuition fees at the home rate, and access to further research funding on application. For international candidates, Kent waives the difference between Home and International fees. Awards are offered for a minimum of 3.5 years full-time equivalent with the opportunity to extend up to 4 years to support researcher development opportunities such as placements or additional skills development. Successful candidates join a vibrant and inclusive research community, benefiting from exceptional academic supervision, tailored professional development, and cross-institutional collaboration through a training hub network comprising eleven outstanding universities in the South East and South West of England. Both full-time and part-time modes of study are eligible.
