About this opportunity
The AIA Architecture Technology Program Scholarship supports students currently enrolled at Tarrant County College who are pursuing architecture-related degrees or certificates. This scholarship is offered by the American Institute of Architects Fort Worth Chapter in collaboration with Tarrant County College Faculty, Staff and Community. Recipients must demonstrate academic excellence with a minimum 3.0 GPA, maintain enrollment in at least 9 credit hours, and have completed at least 12 credit hours of architecture coursework prior to receiving the award. A unique requirement of this scholarship is that recipients must provide a portfolio of their work to TCC's Architecture Department by September 1st for review and critique by a panel of instructors. The scholarship is renewable for the spring semester if the recipient maintains a 3.0 semester GPA and completes a minimum of 9 credit hours in the fall. Applicants must also meet federal or state guidelines for financial need.
