About This Opportunity

The North Harbour Club & Charitable Trust awards grants annually through the AIMES Youth Excellence Awards to outstanding young people, aged 13 to 25, who are achieving excellence in six categories: Arts, Innovation, Music, Education & STEM, Sport, and Service to the Community/Sustainability. Since the North Harbour Club's inception in 1995, over $3.4 million worth of grants have been made, making the club one of the largest donors to individuals in New Zealand. The awards follow a progression pathway with multiple levels: Scholarship Awards ($3,000 for ages 13-18), Emerging Talent Awards ($7,500), and Excellence Awards ($15,000). A Supreme Award Winner is selected from the six Excellence Award winners and receives an additional $15,000, bringing their total to $30,000. Previous winners are encouraged to reapply for higher award levels, and all recipients gain access to networking opportunities, Shore Junction facilities, and invitations to future Award Winners Network events. The program has been recognizing youth excellence since 1995 and maintains a strong alumni network supported by CMP Construction.
