About This Opportunity

The Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to students pursuing college degrees while preparing for careers as commissioned officers in the U.S. Air Force or Space Force. The program offers scholarships to high school students, current college students, and enlisted Airmen/Guardians. Scholarships cover tuition, fees, and provide monthly stipends, enabling students to earn their degrees while developing leadership skills through military training. AFROTC is more than just financial aid—it provides comprehensive leadership development, professional military education, and flight preparation opportunities. Upon completion of AFROTC and academic degree requirements, cadets accept a commission as Second Lieutenants. Entry to the program is not limited to scholarship recipients; non-scholarship students may participate and compete for scholarship opportunities while in college. The high school scholarship application window runs from July 1, 2025 through December 12, 2025 for students intending to enroll in the 2026-2027 academic year. Applicants must have completed their junior year of high school before applying.
