Ajaib Singh Sangha and Family Memorial Scholarship

One or more scholarships are awarded to academically outstanding graduate students in Geography who have shown special proficiency in research on any aspect of the geography of a region in the Global South (defined as regions within Latin America, Africa, Asia [excluding Israel, Japan, and South Korea], and Oceania [excluding Australia and New Zealand]). Preference will be given to a student who is doing research on Southeast Asia or South Asia. The scholarship recognizes academic excellence and research contributions in geographic studies focused on developing regions. Approval of the recipient(s) will be made by the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Graduate Award Committee on the recommendation of the Department of Geography.
