About this opportunity
In honour and respect for the AEC's Founder Mr Alan Duncan, the AEC has established an annual scholarship for Indigenous Australian men in New South Wales who are undertaking tertiary study. The scholarship comprises three components: the Alan Duncan Memorial Scholarship for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men undertaking an approved course of study at a university in New South Wales; the Alan Duncan Memorial Course Assistance Fund for men studying at a tertiary institution in NSW to attend conferences or access resources required to complete their course of study; and the Alan Duncan Memorial Incidentals Support Fund for men undertaking a course at a TAFE in NSW to enable them to enter the workforce. Applications are assessed on financial need with single men with children or family responsibilities prioritized.
