About this opportunity
The Alan E. Cober Memorial Fund was established in 2001 by family and friends to honor the memory and body of work of Alan E. Cober, one of America's foremost illustrators. Cober was a visiting artist in the Art Department at the University at Buffalo from 1986-1996, and was posthumously inducted into the Society of Illustrators Hall of Fame for lifetime achievements in illustration. This award supports undergraduate art majors who demonstrate exceptional ability, interest, and portfolio work in drawing, advancing the field of graphic illustration in honor of Cober's legacy.
