Alan F Affleck Award in Recreation and Leisure Studies

The Alan F Affleck Award in Recreation and Leisure Studies is awarded annually to a student with satisfactory academic standing of at least 2.7 in the final two years of study who is convocating from the Bachelor of Arts in Recreation Administration or the Bachelor of Arts in Recreation, Sport, and Tourism in the Spring. The recipient is selected on the basis of academic standing and demonstrated involvement with the Recreation Students Society and the community within the recreation field at the University of Alberta. The recipient must have been in full-time attendance in the final year of the program to be eligible for this award. This endowed award was established by the Recreation Students Society and other donors in recognition of Alan F Affleck.
