Alan Higgs Community Grants

The Alan Higgs Community Grants are offered through a partnership between the Alan Edward Higgs Charity and the Heart of England Community Foundation. The Higgs Charity has been making grants to charities across the West Midlands since 1979, and these community grants are in addition to their normal grant making programme. These grants of up to £1,000 are aimed at small grassroots community-based organisations supporting people in Coventry and Warwickshire. Applications must meet at least one of three aims: relieve poverty, promote economic and community development and employment, or support general charitable purposes. Priority is given to organisations whose focus is supporting children and young people. The fund is designed to provide accessible small grants to community organizations working at the grassroots level to make a positive impact in their local areas.
