Albert Bartlett Engineering Scholarship (Includes one year placement)

The Albert Bartlett Engineering Scholarship is open to all second year BSc and first year FdSc students at Harper Adams University who are studying an Engineering related degree. The successful applicant will gain practical experience in a fast-paced engineering environment and will support the engineering team in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving production equipment and systems. A placement year with Albert Bartlett must be suitable for your course area. Albert Bartlett may award two Engineering Scholarships. The scholarship includes both a financial contribution of £4,500 toward education and employment within the Engineering department at Albert Bartlett during the placement year. Subject to a review at the end of placement with Albert Bartlett, there may be an opportunity of a place on the company's Graduate Programme and the potential for further funding in the scholar's final academic year. The Albert Bartlett will assist with finding local accommodation if needed. A condition of the scholarship is that recipients undertake their placement year with Albert Bartlett. This is a competitive award which will be evaluated on merit of the submitted application, academic achievements to date and interview.
