Albert G. Mogor, PhD Memorial Scholarship

The Albert G. Mogor, PhD Memorial Scholarship is awarded to students currently enrolled at or entering Tarrant County College who intend to pursue an associate degree or certificate of completion. Eligible students must maintain a minimum TCC GPA of 2.5 (or have a high school equivalent or passing GED score if a first-time TCC student) and enroll in at least 9 credit hours or full-time enrollment as defined by their program. Applicants must meet federal or state guidelines for financial need. This scholarship is offered through the Tarrant County College Foundation and is funded by the family and friends of Dr. Al G. Mogor. The award amount varies based on available funding. Recipients who achieve a minimum semester GPA of 2.75 and complete a minimum of 9 credit hours in the fall may receive a renewal scholarship for the spring semester. Students are automatically considered for this scholarship based on their completed General Application through the Tarrant County College Foundation Scholarships platform. This opportunity supports students pursuing higher education at the community college level with demonstrated financial need.
