About this opportunity
The Albert Scholarship provides opportunities for postgraduate students and graduates of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music at the University of Sydney to travel overseas to further their studies in music. Established in 1970 by Alexis Albert on behalf of J. Albert & Son Pty Ltd, this scholarship supports the professional development of music graduates through international study experiences. The scholarship value and duration are determined by the Dean of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music based on the specific needs and proposals of successful recipients. Applicants are evaluated on academic merit, performance presentation, and/or their project proposal including a projected budget for overseas travel. This scholarship provides financial support for travel-related expenses and study costs for recipients pursuing music education and professional development opportunities abroad.
