Alberta Athletics Award

The Alberta Athletics Award is a scholarship awarded to Canadian citizens, Permanent Residents or protected persons who are Alberta residents with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in the second or subsequent term of an undergraduate, graduate or professional degree at the University of Alberta. Selection is based on membership of a University of Alberta sports team. Students in Open Studies are eligible for the award for a maximum of one year. This award is funded annually by the Alberta Heritage Scholarship Fund and recognizes student-athletes who maintain satisfactory academic performance while contributing to university athletics programs.
