Alberta Blue Cross Away from Home Scholarship

An annual $750 award offered to first-year students who are Alberta residents. The scholarship recognizes students who display superior academic achievement and demonstrate financial need. Eligible recipients must reside in a hometown that is at least 100 kilometres from Concordia University of Edmonton. Selection is based on the academic standing of 30-level subjects used for admission. Recipients may not be receiving other awards totalling more than $3,500. The scholarship is awarded in September of each year and does not require an application. This entrance scholarship is funded by Alberta Blue Cross and is designed to support students who are leaving their home communities to pursue higher education at Concordia University of Edmonton.
