Alberta Graduate Excellence Scholarship

The Alberta Graduate Excellence Scholarship recognizes outstanding academic achievement of students pursuing graduate studies in Alberta. It was established to incentivize the best and the brightest students, including international students, to study in Alberta. This scholarship has been funded through the Alberta Heritage Scholarship Fund. Recipients must be enrolled full-time in a master's, doctoral, or graduate level program at an eligible Alberta post-secondary institution. The scholarship provides between $11,000 and $15,000 to support graduate students living in Alberta while studying. Schools select recipients based on minimum eligibility criteria and any additional criteria set by the institution.
