The Alberta - NWT Command The Royal Canadian Legion scholarship is available to any full-time students enrolled in a two-year program at NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology). The scholarship prioritizes applicants based on their connection to military service: first priority is given to sons or daughters of deceased or disabled War Veterans, second priority to sons or daughters of War Veterans, third priority to Ex-Service Men or Women, fourth priority to sons or daughters of Ex-Service or Serving Personnel, fifth priority to grandsons or granddaughters of Ex-Service Personnel, and sixth priority to native-born or naturalized Canadians domiciled in Alberta or the Northwest Territories. The award is granted based on satisfactory academic achievement and demonstrated financial need. This scholarship recognizes the service of military personnel and their families while supporting students pursuing post-secondary education at NAIT.
