Alberta Society of Professional Biologists Scholarship

The Alberta Society of Professional Biologists (ASPB) Scholarship is available to students enrolled in the Conservation Biology and Environmental Monitoring and Assessment programs at NAIT. The ASPB is the regulatory body for biologists in Alberta with a purpose to protect the public by ensuring biologists are qualified to practice biology in accordance with legislation. The scholarship is awarded on the basis of excellent academic achievement in the program, with preference given to student members of the Alberta Society of Professional Biologists. Through the ASPB, students can apply for the designation of Professional Biologist (P. Biol.) after completing all education and experience requirements. Student memberships with ASPB are free, providing access to benefits including mentorship and scholarship opportunities. Students must submit an application to be considered for this award.
