Alberta Sustainable Resource Development - Michael Berry Memorial Award

The Michael Berry Memorial Award is presented to a second year NAIT student who demonstrates a keen desire and aptitude for field work and a sincere desire to make a difference by working with people. Michael Berry was an individual that demonstrated a love for natural resource management, particularly field work and working with people. His desire was to see respectful treatment and management of Alberta's resources, whether forest, recreational opportunities or wildlife, underpinned by knowing the resource and working with colleagues and resource users. The award recognizes students who share Michael's passion for making a difference in natural resource management. Students are automatically considered for this award with no application required.
