Alberta Teachers' Association Gold Medal in Education

The Alberta Teachers' Association Gold Medal in Education is awarded to a student who is completing the final year of the Bachelor of Education Program at Red Deer Polytechnic. The recipient must have demonstrated the highest general proficiency in their coursework and field experiences. This award recognizes outstanding academic achievement and teaching excellence among graduating education students. The award includes both a gold medal and a monetary prize of $2,000 CAD. Students are automatically considered for this award based on their completed General Application through the Red Deer Polytechnic scholarship system.
