Alberta Teachers' Association Gold Medal in Education

The Alberta Teachers' Association Gold Medal in Education is awarded to a student convocating from Northwestern Polytechnic with a University of Alberta Bachelor of Education degree who has shown the highest general proficiency in their coursework and field experiences. This award recognizes academic excellence and outstanding performance in both theoretical coursework and practical field experiences within the education program. The medal is specifically designated for students completing their entire degree program at Northwestern Polytechnic and is not available to students who transfer to the University of Alberta campus to complete their degree. Recipients are selected based on their demonstrated proficiency across all components of the Bachelor of Education program.
