About This Opportunity
Established in 2019, the Alberta Traditional Bow Hunters Association Bursary is available to a full-time student in the 2nd year of Environmental Sciences: Wildlife & Fisheries Conservation at the Vermilion campus of Lakeland College. The bursary is awarded based on financial need, satisfactory academic standing, interest in wildlife conservation and/or traditional bowhunting, and interest in the backwoods/outdoors. Preference is given to members of the Alberta Traditional Bow Hunters Association. This award supports students pursuing environmental science education with a focus on wildlife and fisheries conservation, particularly those engaged in traditional outdoor activities and conservation efforts.
