Alberta Union of Provincial Employees Bursary

Established in 1986, the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees Bursary is awarded to full-time students at Lakeland College who demonstrate financial need and satisfactory academic achievement. The bursary is available to members of AUPE in good standing with 1 consecutive year of membership, retired members and/or their spouses/same sex partners, their financial dependent children and dependent children of deceased members. All dependents must be under the age of 25 years. Consideration will be made for a past AUPE member who enrolls full-time in post-secondary education within the 1st year following job elimination. Priority will be given to applicants who have not received this bursary previously, however, if there are monies available, an applicant may receive a bursary in subsequent years.
