Alberta Veterinary Technologist Association VMA Scholarship

This scholarship is available to students enrolled in the Veterinary Medical Assistant program at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT). The award is granted on the basis of satisfactory academic standing and demonstrated overall skills in both large and small animals and professionalism. Preference is given to students who actively participate in the community and volunteer in community and/or program initiatives. Students must submit an application to be considered for this award. The scholarship provides $250 to support veterinary medical assistant students who demonstrate academic achievement, practical skills with animals, and community engagement.
