Alden H. and Mary G. Forbes Scholarship Fund

The Alden H. and Mary G. Forbes Scholarship Fund was established at The Pittsburgh Foundation to provide scholarships to graduates of North Hills High School attending college in Allegheny County. This scholarship supports graduating seniors with a minimum 2.0 GPA who plan to attend an accredited vocational or technical trade school, 2-year or 4-year college or university located in Allegheny County. Preference is given to applicants who can demonstrate financial need and those who plan to study science fields including astronomy, biology, chemistry, earth science or physics. This is a single-year award with an average value of $1,500, designed to help local students access higher education opportunities within their community.
